About Balloon Guard
Shield the balloon. Beat the sky.
Balloon Guard is a reversed-defence arcade game. A balloon drifts upward on its own and your only job is to protect it: move a shield above it to swat away the falling blocks, spikes and gapped beams before any of them touch it. One hit pops the balloon, and every 500 metres brings a nastier twist, so the game keeps getting harder without ever asking you to move faster.
How to play Balloon Guard
- The balloon rises on its own — your job is to protect it.
- Drag or swipe to move your shield and deflect the falling obstacles.
- If any obstacle touches the balloon, it pops instantly.
- Every 500m levels you up with a nastier twist. Climb as high as you can.
Tips & strategy
- Keep the shield hovering just above the balloon so you can react in either direction.
- Sweep the shield to angle it and shove obstacles off to the side rather than just blocking them.
- On beam levels, line the balloon up with the gap early instead of scrambling at the last second.
- Deflect obstacles sideways instead of parking the shield underneath them. Anything you merely hold up is still overhead, and it will come down again the moment your shield moves on.
