About Rope Skip
Time it. Jump it.
Rope Skip is a one-tap timing game. Tap to jump exactly as the spinning rope sweeps under your feet; mistime it and the rope catches you and the run ends. The rope gradually speeds up and throws in double-unders that demand a higher jump, so the rhythm you settle into early has to keep adapting — your score is simply the number of jumps you land.
How to play Rope Skip
- Tap to jump just as the rope sweeps under your feet.
- Mistime it and the rope catches you — run over.
- The rope speeds up, and double-unders need a higher jump.
- Score = jumps landed. How long can you keep skipping?
Tips & strategy
- Watch the rope, not your character, and tap on its beat.
- For double-unders, jump a touch earlier so you’re still airborne for the second pass.
- Find a steady internal tempo and trust it as the speed creeps up.
- Anticipate the acceleration instead of reacting to it. The rope quickens gradually, so nudging each tap slightly earlier keeps you ahead of the pace rather than permanently chasing it.
