How to play Sudoku
- Each row, column and 3×3 box must contain 1–9 exactly once.
- Tap a cell, then a number to fill it. Clashes are highlighted.
- Every puzzle has exactly one solution — logic only, never guessing.
- Finish clean and fast for a better time.
Tips & strategy
- Scan for “naked singles”: cells where eight other digits are already ruled out.
- Pencil in candidates for tricky regions so you can spot pairs and hidden singles.
- Alternate between rows, columns and boxes — a digit placed in one often unlocks the others.
- When you stall, stop asking “what goes in this cell?” and start asking “where can this digit go in this box?” The same grid often gives up a forced placement immediately from the second angle.
