About The Last Second

Trust your gut. Stop at zero.

The Last Second is a pure test of your internal clock. A timer counts down from ten seconds, but at the three-second mark the number vanishes and you are flying blind — you have to feel the final moment and tap STOP as close to zero as possible without letting it run out. It is the kind of five-second game you swear you will nail next time, forever, and the board keeps only your closest ever attempt.

How to play The Last Second

  1. Tap START. A timer counts down from 10.00.
  2. At 3.00 the number HIDES. Now you only have your gut.
  3. Tap STOP as close to 0.00 as possible — without letting it hit zero.
  4. Closest to zero wins. Your internal clock never gets perfect.

Tips & strategy

  • Count the hidden final seconds in your head with a phrase you trust, like “one-Mississippi”.
  • Aim to stop at roughly 0.1–0.2s rather than dead zero — overshooting to zero is the only way to fail.
  • Play a few silent rounds without pressure to calibrate your personal sense of a second.
  • Use the seven visible seconds to lock your tempo before the number disappears. The blind stretch is only three seconds long, so a rhythm you already trust will carry you through it.
