About Egg Toss

Time the toss. Climb without cracking.

Egg Toss is a deceptively cruel timing game built on one twist: the egg will not fit into the basket on the way up. You have to overshoot, sail past the rim and let it drop back in from above, which means every throw is really a judgement about height rather than distance. The power meter sweeps from soft green to hard red, the baskets drift side to side, and a shifting wind curves the arc, so a throw that was perfect one rung ago is a cracked egg the next.

How to play Egg Toss

  1. The power meter sweeps green (soft) to red (strong) — tap to launch at that speed.
  2. The egg shoots up past the basket and drops back in from above — it won’t fit going up.
  3. Baskets drift side to side and the wind curves the egg, so pick your power and read the breeze.
  4. Every catch climbs you one rung — it never ends, it only speeds up.
  5. Crack 3 eggs and it’s game over. Chase your highest climb.

Tips & strategy

  • Aim to clear the basket by a comfortable margin rather than skimming the rim — a shot that arrives level almost always bounces off.
  • Read the wind before you tap, not after. Watch which way the previous egg drifted and shade your power to compensate.
  • The meter sweeps at a constant rate, so pick your target zone and commit early; hesitating past the peak is what produces wild red-zone launches.
  • When the tower speeds up, stop chasing perfect throws and settle into safe, slightly-too-high shots — you only lose on cracks, not on style.
