About Grapple Run
Swing. Release. Fly.
Grapple Run is a physics swinging game all about rhythm and release. Hold to grapple onto the nearest anchor and swing like a pendulum, then let go at the perfect point in the arc to launch yourself as far as possible. Timing the release is everything — let go too early and you drop short, too late and the swing has already begun carrying you backwards.
How to play Grapple Run
- Hold the screen to latch your rope onto the nearest anchor.
- Swing on the rope to build momentum.
- Release at the right moment to launch yourself forward.
- Travel as far as you can without hitting the ground.
Tips & strategy
- Release near the bottom of your swing to convert momentum into distance.
- Grab the next anchor a touch late to build a bigger arc before letting go.
- Keep your rhythm flowing; stopping to re-grab kills the momentum you’ve built.
- Distance comes from the swing before the release, not the release itself. One extra half-arc spent building speed usually beats grabbing an anchor and immediately letting go again.
