About Minefield
One wrong tap. Boom.
Minefield is the timeless logic classic. Reveal tiles across the grid without detonating a hidden mine; each number tells you how many mines touch that square, and from those clues you deduce which neighbours are safe and which to flag. The first tap is always safe, so every board is solvable with careful reasoning and a steady nerve — and because you are scored on time, the challenge is reading the clues quickly rather than merely correctly.
How to play Minefield
- Tap a tile to reveal it. The first tap is always safe.
- Numbers show how many mines touch that tile. Deduce the rest.
- Toggle flag mode to mark suspected mines.
- Clear every safe tile as fast as you can.
Tips & strategy
- Start from the numbers, not the blanks — a “1” already touching one flag means its other neighbours are safe.
- Flag mines as you confirm them so you don’t lose track and misclick later.
- When a region is fully ambiguous, work the edges and corners where fewer neighbours make deductions easier.
- Compare neighbouring numbers instead of reading each one alone. Where two clues overlap on the same hidden tiles, the difference between them often pins down a mine with no guessing at all.
